Reliance Jio has expanded its JioHome services in India with new 3-in-1 plans combining Wi-Fi, live TV and OTT subscriptions. Customers can also choose separate Wi-Fi-only and TV-only plans.The 3-in-1 plans offer unlimited Wi-Fi, more than 1,000 live TV channels and over 12 OTT apps under a single subscription. The services are available through JioFiber and JioAirFiber.
Jio 3-in-1 plans
The 100 Mbps plan is priced at ₹2,122 for two months, with the third month free. This brings the effective monthly cost to around ₹707. The 30 Mbps plan costs ₹2,222 for three months, with one additional month free, making the effective monthly cost around ₹555.The 30 Mbps plan also includes an extra 100 GB of data valid for 90 days. Both plans come with free voice services and seven bonus days for customers opting for long-term payments.The long-term benefit is available for plan upgrades, advance payments of three, six or 12 months by existing customers, and prepaid-to-postpaid migration.
Jio TV-only plans
Customers who only want TV services can opt for JioHome TV without Wi-Fi or OTT subscriptions. The five-month pack costs ₹2,000, with an effective monthly cost of ₹400, and offers more than 1,000 channels.The package includes over 200 HD channels across more than 15 regional languages.A two-month TV pack costs ₹1,000 and includes a ₹200 setup fee. Jio refunds the setup fee through four ₹50 coupons.
Jio Wi-Fi-only plans
The 100 Mbps Wi-Fi plan costs ₹3,000 for five months, or ₹600 per month. The 30 Mbps plan costs ₹2,200 for five months, making the effective monthly cost ₹440.The two-month versions are priced at ₹1,500 for 100 Mbps and ₹1,100 for 30 Mbps. Setup fees of ₹300 and ₹200, respectively, are returned through ₹50 vouchers.
Jio data limits
Jio said its 3,300 GB usage policy applies to all unlimited Fiber plans. AirFiber customers get up to 1,000 GB of high-speed data, after which the speed is reduced to 64 Kbps.Jio claims that its JioHome services are currently used by more than 2 crore homes across India.
