Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal on Monday evening, September 21, to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha during the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. He was accompanied by wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan.
Dressed in a navy blue Pathani kurta set and sporting a red tilak, Shah Rukh offered prayers before the idol and participated in the evening aarti with his family. The actor was escorted by tight security as a large crowd gathered at the pandal, with fans attempting to catch a glimpse of him and record the visit.
Videos from the visit showed Shah Rukh bowing before Lord Ganesha and briefly interacting with the organisers and staff. He also waved to fans as he left the venue. His manager Pooja Dadlani accompanied the family during the visit.
The Lalbaugcha Raja visit came amid Shah Rukh’s ongoing Ganpati celebrations. On September 22, he also visited the T-Series office in Mumbai, where he attended a Ganesh Puja and accepted prasad.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh is preparing for his next theatrical release, King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on December 24, 2026, and features Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji in the cast.
