The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and traffic police conducted a joint inspection of the area outside Kalupur Railway Station on Monday to review traffic management.
The area sees a constant flow of commuters, auto-rickshaws and cars, making traffic management a regular challenge. Officials reviewed vehicle and pedestrian movement, parking arrangements and measures to keep public roads free from obstructions.
The inspection was attended by the JCP (Traffic), DCP (Traffic-West) and the police inspector of Traffic Police Station ‘E’, along with deputy municipal commissioners of the Estate Department and Central Zone, engineers and other staff.
The exercise focused on identifying traffic-related issues on the ground and planning measures to improve traffic flow in the area.
