NSS volunteers from Gujarat Commerce College (GCC) visited Datak village near Pirana as part of the college’s Setu project.
At Pirana Primary School, programme officers Dr RK Chovatiya and Dr Mukesh Bavaliya conducted an awareness session for students on their rights and personal safety, including good touch and bad touch. The session was held in the presence of school principal Bhumika.
The school also honoured 10 active students by presenting them with gifts in recognition of their participation.
Later, the NSS volunteers conducted a plastic collection drive on the school premises and in nearby areas as part of the cleanliness initiative.
