To handle the expected rush during Ganesh Chaturthi, South Central Railway has announced a special Festival Special train between Hyderabad and Vatva in Ahmedabad.
The special train, numbered 07087/07088, will provide additional travel options for passengers travelling between Telangana, Maharashtra and Gujarat during the festival.
Train schedule
Train No. 07087 Hyderabad–Vatva: The train will depart from Hyderabad at 2.15 pm on September 19 and reach Vatva at 9.50 pm the next day, September 20.
Train No. 07088 Vatva–Hyderabad: The return train will depart from Vatva at 3.30 am on September 21 and reach Hyderabad at 4.30 am on September 22.
Major stops and coaches
The special train will have Second AC, Third AC, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.
In Gujarat, the train will halt at major stations including Vadodara, Surat and Valsad. Other important stops on the route include Vasai Road, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Tandur, Vikarabad, Lingampalli and Begumpet.
The special service is expected to provide additional travel options for passengers during the Ganesh Chaturthi rush.
