Around 1,000 school and college students participated in a World Ozone Day programme at Gujarat Science City, learning about ozone protection and climate action through interactive activities and expert talks.
The programme, themed ‘Global Action for a Cooler Planet’, featured a session by Physical Research Laboratory professor Dr Neeraj Rastogi on the importance of the ozone layer, threats to it and ways to protect it.
Students also watched a film on ozone conservation and participated in the ‘Explore Ozone’ puzzle game based on the message ‘Save Ozone, Save Life’.
The programme concluded with students visiting various thematic galleries at Science City.
