Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has announced that he will perform at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on November 21, 2026, as part of his ongoing Aura World Tour.
Dosanjh made the announcement during his concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday, September 12. The news drew loud cheers from the packed audience. He later confirmed the date, saying, “We are doing Narendra Modi Stadium on November 21, 2026.”
The Ahmedabad concert will mark Dosanjh’s return to the city after his Dil-Luminati India Tour in 2024. Details about ticket prices, bookings and the sale date have not yet been announced.
Talking about the venue, Dosanjh described the Narendra Modi Stadium as India’s biggest stadium and referred to Coldplay’s earlier concert there.
He said that while a foreign band had sold out the stadium, it was now time for a Punjabi artist to perform there.
Dosanjh’s Wembley concert was also a landmark moment, as he became the first Punjabi singer to headline the iconic venue. He opened the show with “Punjabi Aa Gaye Wembley Oye!” and told the audience that the performance would go down in history.
The more than two-hour concert featured some of his popular songs, including GOAT, Lover, Hass Hass and Born to Shine. Fans from different backgrounds sang and danced along, while Dosanjh also interacted with the audience and invited fans, including children and an elderly woman, onto the stage.
The show ended with Main Hoon Punjabi, followed by a fireworks display. The Wembley performance also served as the stage for Dosanjh to announce his upcoming Ahmedabad concert.
