Mumbai: In response to increased travel demand during the Paryushan Festival, Western Railway will run special trains from Bandra Terminus to Bhavnagar Terminus in Gujarat. These services are scheduled for September 15 and 16.
Train No. 09023 will leave Bandra at 7:25 PM on Tuesday, arriving in Bhavnagar at 10:30 AM the next morning. The return journey on Train No. 09024 departs Bhavnagar at 5:40 PM on Wednesday, reaching Bandra by 7:25 AM Thursday.
The special train will make stops at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Botad, Dhola, Songadh, and Sihor along the way.
This service will include various classes of travel: AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches. Passengers should be aware that these trains operate on a special-fare basis.
Ticket booking begins today at 8 AM via Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and the IRCTC website.
Additionally, Western Railway is set to operate 14 trips of the Dadar–Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Superfast AC Special train from October to November. This train departs Dadar every Thursday starting October 15 and returns from Nizamuddin each Tuesday through November.
- Departure from Dadar: Every Thursday at 12:15 AM
- Arrival at Nizamuddin: Same day at 9:35 PM
- Return Departure from Nizamuddin: Every Tuesday at 11:45 PM
- Arrival back in Dadar: Next day at 10:40 PM
This train will also stop at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Gangapur City, Mathura and Kosi Kalan stations along its route.
