The Bengal Cultural Association (BCA) will organise its 89th Kalibari Durga Puja from October 15 to 21 at a new venue on Sindhu Bhavan Road, next to Monte Carlo Oxygen Park.
The entrance to the puja venue will be designed to resemble the architecture of the ISKCON temple in Mayapur.The seven-day celebrations will include a crafts mela, evening music and dance performances, and live demonstrations of idol-making.
According to the BCA, the festival will continue to be an inclusive celebration, welcoming non-Bengali families, youngsters and cultural enthusiasts while maintaining the traditional identity of the puja at its new venue.
