The Gujarat government will host the curtain raiser for the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on August 31. The event will mark the beginning of preparations for the 10th edition of the summit, which is scheduled to be held in Gujarat from January 10 to 12, 2027.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi will interact with leading industry representatives during a morning session. In the evening, they are scheduled to meet heads of missions and senior Government of India officials at Hotel Taj Palace.During the programme, CM Patel will also hold one-on-one meetings with senior representatives of several major companies at Bharat Mandapam.
These include TPREL, JSW MG Motor India, Schneider Electric India, DCM Shriram Limited, Seoul Semiconductors, Shree Cement Limited, Purvah Green Power, LG Energy Solutions, JBM Group, Dinesh Chandra R. Agarwal Infracon, Max Healthcare, Uno Minda & ACMA, ACME Solar, Schweighag AG, AirTrunk, HIF Global, GHCL, Esber Bank, PB Fintech Limited, the parent company of Policybazaar and Paisabazaar, and Mankind Pharma.
The discussions will cover major sectors such as renewable energy, automobiles, semiconductors and electronics, cement, infrastructure, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, railways, artificial intelligence, data centres, IT, chemicals and banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI).Investment opportunities, business expansion plans and potential strategic partnerships are expected to be key areas of discussion.
The curtain raiser will also highlight Gujarat’s industrial ecosystem, infrastructure, investor-friendly policies and focus on sustainable and technology-driven growth. The state government’s preparedness to support the next phase of industrial development is also expected to feature prominently during the interactions.
The programme comes soon after Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel concluded a high-level international delegation visit to the United States and Canada, as Gujarat intensifies preparations for VGGS 2027.
