The weekend is here, and OTT platforms have added a fresh line-up of movies and web series for viewers planning to spend their time at home. Several new titles across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam cinema have arrived on streaming services this week, along with a selection of English and international content.

Netflix
Netflix has added several titles to its catalogue this week. YRF’s Alpha began streaming on August 28, along with The Whisper Man, Secret Woman, MouseTrap and All The Truth In My Lies.
Fans of Beauty in Black can also catch Season 3, while Four Hands, Two Sonatas is scheduled to arrive on August 29. Other recent additions to the platform include The Last Salute, The Early Spring and Death of the Pastor’s Wife.
JioHotstar
JioHotstar has also expanded its selection with new Indian content. I, Nobody is available to stream in multiple Indian languages, while Michael arrived on August 28. The Telugu weekly series Part Timers is another option for viewers looking for regional content.
SonyLIV and Other Regional Platforms
SonyLIV is streaming Anbe Diana in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Meanwhile, Newton’s 3rd Law is available on ETV Win and Aakalirajyam can be watched on Aha. Malayalam cinema fans can also stream Pluto on SainaPlay.
Amazon Prime Video and Other Platforms
Several titles have also been added across other streaming services. Apple TV has Dark Matter: Season 2, while Lionsgate Play is streaming Hungry. Hulu has added Desert Warrior and Adults: Season 2, and ZEE5 has the Hindi title Bandar.
Amazon Prime Video has also introduced new content, including The Last Sunrise, Olmo and Babita Singh Reporting. Some titles are available through the platform’s rental option, while others are part of its latest streaming catalogue.
With multiple new releases across platforms, viewers have plenty of choices for the weekend, whether they prefer Indian regional cinema, Hindi films, international stories, thrillers, action or web series.
