The second season of India’s Got Latent is back with another episode featuring its trademark humour, with Orry and host Samay Raina engaging in a series of sharp exchanges and jokes.
The episode also featured Archana Puran Singh, Nishant Suri and Sharon Verma. Sharon’s quick responses stood out during the episode, while much of the attention centred on the back-and-forth between Orry and Samay.
Orry, whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, spoke about travelling from London for the shoot and joked about being on a panel where he did not know anyone other than himself.
Samay responded with a crude joke and later brought up Orry’s earlier remarks about wanting to become a household name. He followed it with a play on the popular phrase, “where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
Orry then turned the exchange into a warning, joking about his connections and suggesting that Samay could face trouble if he ended up in prison.
“I have a lot of connections. If you go inside (prison), you won’t come back out this time. Be careful! Stay within your limits,” Orry said. Samay responded by asking, “Where will you put me?”
The conversation then moved towards a wildlife conservation project in Gujarat. Orry continued the joke by referring to monkeys being kept there and suggested that Samay might enjoy living there more than hosting the show.
“You will live a better life there; you don’t have to do all this nonsense,” Orry added. The exchange continued in a light-hearted manner, with both participants building on each other’s jokes and turning the conversation into one of the episode’s notable comic moments.
Rakhi Sawant to Feature in Next Episode
The episode concluded with a glimpse of the upcoming instalment, which will feature Rakhi Sawant. In the preview, Samay reflects on his approach to the show, saying he initially attempted to keep things safe but felt viewers believed something was missing. The decision to bring Rakhi Sawant onto the show appears to signal a change in that approach.
