CEPT Professional Programs (CPP), the executive education arm of CEPT University, has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Statue of Unity Area Development & Tourism Governance Authority (SOUADTGA) to strengthen experiential learning and academic engagement.
The partnership will provide CEPT students, faculty members and professional learners with opportunities to study the planning, development and management of the Statue of Unity region.
Focus on Heritage, Tourism and Urban Planning
The collaboration will offer practical exposure to areas including heritage conservation, tourism management, urban planning and public administration.
As part of the partnership, students and faculty will be able to participate in site visits and interact with government officials and other stakeholders involved in the development of the Statue of Unity precinct.
Workshops and Joint Research
The MoU will also support workshops, joint academic programmes and research initiatives. The collaboration is aimed at taking learning beyond the classroom by giving participants first-hand exposure to a major tourism and development project.
The partnership is expected to create opportunities for students and professionals to connect academic knowledge with real-world challenges in tourism, infrastructure, planning and regional development.
