IndiGo’s website faced another technical disruption on Friday, marking the second reported glitch on the airline’s online platform within a week. The issue affected passengers attempting to book flights, complete web check-in and access other online services.
IndiGo acknowledged the disruption, stating that customers were experiencing intermittent problems with its core reservation platform. The airline said its technical teams were working with a technology partner to restore normal services.
Several passengers reported difficulties while trying to book flights on the airline’s website, with some encountering a “no data available” message. Complaints were also raised on IndiGo’s X account regarding web check-in and payment confirmations.
In a message on its website, IndiGo said the technical issue could make it difficult for some customers to access its online services. Passengers with immediate travel requirements were advised to contact the airline’s customer support centre.
Those scheduled to travel later were asked to try accessing the website or mobile application again after some time. The airline apologised for the inconvenience and sought passengers’ patience while the issue was being resolved.
Second Glitch in a Week
The latest disruption comes only two days after IndiGo reported a similar issue on Wednesday. At the time, the airline had said intermittent problems with its core reservation platform were affecting access to online services.
The recurrence of the technical problem within the same week has led to renewed complaints from passengers, particularly those attempting to make bookings, complete web check-in or confirm payments. IndiGo has not specified how long Friday’s disruption is expected to continue.
