Western Railway has announced additional trips of special trains to manage the expected rush of passengers travelling to Konkan and Maharashtra during Ganeshotsav. The special services will connect Gujarat and Mumbai with destinations including Ratnagiri, Khed, Sawantwadi Road and Visakhapatnam.
Bookings for these special trains opened on August 15, 2026, through all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and the official IRCTC website. The Gujarat-Mumbai special trains will operate with special fares.

Additional trips have been announced for services from Valsad, Udhna and Vadodara to Ratnagiri.
