Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) beneficiaries in Gujarat and their families will now be able to access tertiary and super-speciality medical treatment without any expenditure limit.
The facility follows the signing of MoUs with six healthcare institutions in the state. The agreements were signed in Gandhinagar on Thursday in the presence of Labour and Employment Minister Kunvarji Bavaliya.
The initiative aims to ensure timely and quality healthcare for insured workers and their dependents, especially in critical and emergency cases.
The healthcare institutions covered under the agreements are:
- Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre, Dharampur
- Shrimad Rajchandra Sarvamangal Hospital and CU Shah Medical College, Surendranagar
- Shree Giriraj Hospital, Rajkot
- Gokul Lifecare Pvt Ltd, Rajkot
- N M Virani Wockhardt Hospital Ltd, Rajkot
- Dr Bhatt Pathology Laboratory, Rajkot
The move is expected to provide ESIC beneficiaries with better access to advanced medical treatment and specialised healthcare services across Gujarat.
