‘Lock Upp Season 2: Sach Ya Sazaa’ contestant Akanksha Choudhary has spoken about an alleged casting couch experience, claiming that a prominent figure in the beauty pageant industry demanded sexual favours in exchange for financial assistance.
Akanksha, who was evicted ahead of the show’s finale week, shared the incident during the reality show, saying she was struggling to arrange Rs 1-2 lakh needed for pageant training and clothing.
She said her family could not afford the expenses, prompting her to seek help from a well-known individual in the pageant circuit whom she had known for years. According to Akanksha, the person had previously supported several contestants financially, so she approached him with the expectation of temporary assistance, assuring him she would repay the money by working after completing her engineering degree.
Recalling the alleged incident, Akanksha claimed the man invited her to his residence, where he behaved inappropriately and made unwanted physical advances. She said she resisted and pushed him away.
The former Splitsvilla 16 contestant further alleged that the man told her she could have achieved greater success had she approached him earlier. According to Akanksha, he then demanded sexual favours in return for financial help, allegedly saying, “Ek mahine mein tumhein 5-6 baar karna padega.”
