The Office of the Assistant Director of Employment, Ahmedabad, is inviting applications for a free 30-day residential pre-defence training programme for male candidates under the Swami Vivekananda Pre-Defence Residential Training Class Scheme.
The programme is designed to help Gujarat’s youth prepare for recruitment into the Army, Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary Forces and Police through physical fitness training, written exam coaching and mental preparation. Selected candidates will receive free accommodation and meals during the training.
Applicants must meet the required physical standards, including a minimum height of 168 cm, weight of 50 kg, and chest measurement of 77–82 cm. They should have passed Class 10 or Class 12 and be 17.5 to 22 years old, depending on the recruitment criteria.
Candidates who successfully complete the training will also receive a government stipend as per the applicable rules.
Eligible candidates from Ahmedabad district can apply in person on working days at the Office of the Assistant Director of Employment, Bahumali Bhavan, Block A, First Floor, near Girdharnagar Bridge, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad.
