The Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), in collaboration with The Confluence, hosted a colloquium titled “India at 100: What Will Make India Truly Developed by 2047?” The event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, media professionals and public affairs experts to discuss the country’s roadmap towards becoming a developed nation by its centenary year of Independence.
The discussion was hosted and moderated by Rajvidevi Gohil, founder of The Confluence and a 19-year-old International Relations student at Ashoka University.
The panel featured Chiranjiv Patel, Managing Director of P C Snehal Group of Companies; Ajay Umat, National Incharge – Policy, Research & Training, BJP Youth; and Jay Thadeshwar, entrepreneur, podcaster, public affairs commentator and strategic communications leader.
The panellists shared their perspectives on key areas including governance, economic growth, public policy, entrepreneurship, youth participation and the role of innovation in shaping India’s development journey. The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session with the audience.
