The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Wednesday announced three new spokespersons and renewed its call for a nationwide protest on June 6 against alleged paper leaks and irregularities in major competitive examinations, including CBSE, NEET and CUET.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, newly appointed spokespersons Saurav Das, Vijeta Dahiya and Ashutosh Ranka outlined the party’s plans for the protest and appealed to students and citizens across the country to join the demonstration.
The protest was first announced by CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and has since drawn attention after receiving support from climate activist Sonam Wangchuk.
In a social media post, Wangchuk stated that he would participate in the protest in Delhi if no action was taken by June 5 to address the concerns raised over the alleged examination irregularities.
Ahead of the planned agitation, CJP formally introduced its new communications team. Investigative journalist Saurav Das was appointed Chief Spokesperson, while writer and filmmaker Vijeta Dahiya and former consultant Ashutosh Ranka were named spokespersons.
According to the organisation, Das has spent several years reporting on legal, judicial and social issues and has been associated with various public campaigns. Dahiya has worked on research and content projects for digital media platforms and has authored books including Power of Universe and To Hell With That Job.
Ranka, who studied at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and the London School of Economics, previously worked with McKinsey & Company in London. Since returning to India in 2025, he has been involved in campaigns related to education, environment and youth issues.
Following his appointment, Ranka confirmed his association with the movement and voiced support for its campaign against alleged examination irregularities.
