Star Air will begin a new direct flight service between Bhuj and Mumbai from May 20, improving air connectivity between Kutch and Maharashtra’s capital.The airline will operate the flights twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Ticket bookings have already opened on Star Air’s official website, with fares starting from Rs 5,400.As per the schedule, flight S5-464 will depart from Bhuj at 5:50 pm and arrive in Mumbai at 7:20 pm. The return flight, S5-463, will leave Mumbai at 12:40 pm and reach Bhuj at 2:10 pm.
The service will be operated using Embraer E175 aircraft, with a travel time of around 1 hour and 30 minutes between the two cities.The new route is expected to benefit business travellers, tourists and residents commuting between Kutch and Mumbai.
