A major fraud involving parcels worth over ₹1.35 crore has been uncovered in Surat, allegedly linked to logistics partners of Meesho. Third-party delivery vendors and executives are accused of diverting thousands of parcels by misusing the delivery system.
According to officials, Valmo, which handles logistics for Meesho, had assigned delivery work to several vendors in Surat, including Speedy Logex and Ahmedabad-based AIM Logistics Services.
Investigations found that between January 1, 2024, and September 25, 2025, staff from these agencies allegedly worked together to exploit loopholes in the OTP-based delivery system. They reportedly delivered fewer parcels but marked all shipments as “delivered” in records. The undelivered parcels were then allegedly taken by the accused.
In total, 33,035 parcels were falsely marked as delivered and went missing, with an estimated value of ₹1.35 crore.
The complaint was filed by Bengaluru-based S. N. Murthy at the Surat Cyber Crime Police Station. Police have registered a case against Speedy Logex in Udhna, Surat, and AIM Logistics Services in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, and have started a detailed investigation.
Officials believe more delivery staff and possibly higher-level individuals may also be involved in the scam.
