Art that reflects the balance of man and nature
Filmmaker Tanmay Shah’s exhibition Borrowed Earth showcases 26 acrylic paintings exploring the delicate relationship between humans and nature. Centered on the idea that the Earth is something we inherit—not own—the artworks move beyond typical climate themes to reflect on responsibility and coexistence.Created over six months, the series is paired with 26 photographs captured by Shah over eight years across diverse landscapes, forming a thoughtful dialogue between observation and interpretation. The exhibition encourages visitors to pause and rethink their connection with the environment in an increasingly fragile world.
