The LJ Institute of Pharmacy (LJIP), part of LJ University, recently organised an expert session on “Dental Health Awareness with Focus on AI-driven Dentistry” to mark World Oral Health Day.
The session highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence in modern dental practices, including implant planning through digital scans and 3D imaging, as well as computer-guided surgeries that enhance precision and minimise discomfort. Demonstrations featured AI-powered intraoral scanners, Invisalign aligners and virtual dental care systems.
Around 100 students and 30 faculty members attended the session.
