What’s Going On?
So, there’s a serious fuel situation happening across multiple cities in Gujarat right now. I’m talking long lines at petrol pumps in places like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, and even Devbhumi Dwarka – it’s kinda chaotic.
The Cause
And guess what? This mess seems to be linked to oil supply disruptions tied to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Loads of pumps are putting up those dreaded “No Stock” signs which got everyone freaking out.
A Closer Look
In Ahmedabad, rumours alone have sent drivers rushing to fill their tanks. Officials insist that fuel is available but delays in delivery have caused these temporary hiccups. Like, around ten pumps had issues getting supplies on time and had to shut down for a bit (but they’re not gone for good).
Then you got Vadodara where private petrol stations just don’t have enough fuel on hand—so folks are flocking to government-run ones instead. It’s turning into this crazy panic-buying scene.
In Surat, oil companies took a hit too—they’ve cut back deliveries big time. Instead of three tankers rolling in every day, now it’s just one or two! And industrial consumers facing price hikes are buying up more from retail outlets which totally messes with availability for regular drivers.
The Tourist Situation
But wait—Devbhumi Dwarka saw even more drama with tourists exhausting fuel supplies over the weekend. Authorities think fresh deliveries will wrap things up by Monday evening though.
Bottom Line!
The Secretary of the Federation of Gujarat Petrol Diesel Association reassured everyone that there’s no real shortage; we’re just dealing with temporary logistics issues and rumors blowing everything outta proportion!
