So, the Regional Passport Office in Ahmedabad is bringing a Passport Seva Mobile Van to your town soon!
It’s gonna be parked at the Head Post Office—like right near that New Collector Office—on March 30th, April 1st, and April 2nd. Super convenient, right? This move is all part of an effort by the Ministry of External Affairs to make getting passport appointments easier and get services to you faster.
You can go there to submit your passport applications and even book fresh appointments or reschedule ones you’ve already set up. I mean, that’s kinda clutch if you need it done ASAP.
Wanna know how to book those appointments? It’s pretty straightforward! Just hop onto the Passport India website at passportindia.gov.in. You’ll need to file your application under the ‘Normal’ category and pay online. Seriously, just don’t forget to check that payment status later so you know you’re all set.
Oh! And pro tip: When you’re heading over to submit your application, make sure you’ve got all your original documents plus one set of self-attested copies. It’s crucial (not really) but you know what I mean—check out that “Documents Advisor” tab on their website for everything you’ll need.
