Lords Hotels & Resorts has expanded its footprint in Gujarat with the launch of a new resort in Salangpur, marking a strategic move in India’s growing religious and cultural tourism sector.
The newly opened property features 24 cottages and 23 well-appointed rooms. It also includes a banquet hall and a landscaped party lawn, making it suitable for weddings and social gatherings. Guests can avail themselves of amenities such as a multi-cuisine restaurant, spa, swimming pool and open recreational areas designed for families and children.
The resort aims to cater to both pilgrims visiting Salangpur and guests seeking destination weddings and leisure stays, positioning the town as an emerging centre for spiritual tourism and celebrations.
Pushpendra Bansal, Chief Operating Officer of Lords Hotels & Resorts, said the launch reflects the brand’s vision of blending spirituality, comfort and destination events in high-potential pilgrimage destinations.
Sudhir Jena, Vice President – Corporate, added that the group’s expansion strategy focuses on locations with steady year-round demand, noting that Salangpur holds strong potential in spiritual tourism, weddings and social events.
