Raising fresh concerns over road safety in Ahmedabad, a 24-year-old man died in a tragic accident on the Vatva GIDC road on February 12. The mishap occurred after a speeding car reportedly went out of control and crashed into a roadside tree. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras.The victim, identified as Akash Goswami, was a resident of Valol in Gandhinagar and worked with a private company in Changodar. Reports suggest he was travelling to Barejdi to bring his wife back from her parental home when the accident happened.Due to over speeding, Akash allegedly lost control of the steering wheel on the Vatva GIDC stretch. The car rammed into a tree with massive force. The impact was so severe that he died on the spot before any assistance could reach him.Akash had been married for three years. His sudden death has left his family devastated and in deep shock.
