The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has reduced ticket prices for two popular attractions at Balvatika in Kankaria to make them more affordable for visitors.
Under the revised rates, entry to the Butterfly Park will be reduced from ₹100 to ₹50, while the ticket for the Wax Museum will drop from ₹130 to ₹80. The decision follows a review by the Zoo Department aimed at increasing accessibility and encouraging more families and children to visit the facilities.
Balvatika, redeveloped under a public–private partnership model and inaugurated in July 2025, has witnessed strong public response and rising footfall. Civic officials said the reduced ticket prices are expected to further boost visitor participation while enhancing the park’s appeal as a family-friendly recreational and educational destination.
