Dootvakyam, presented by the theatre team of St Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad, secured first place at Advitiya, the 25th edition of Bharat Rang Mahotsav organised by the National School of Drama.
The play, a mythological retelling of Krishna’s dialogue with Duryodhan, received the only standing ovation among the 15 participating entries. Director Prof Satyendra Parmar and his 11-member team were felicitated by veteran actor Mita Vashisht and NSD Director Chitranjan Das Tripathi.
