The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results will be declared on February 16, instead of the earlier expected date of February 12.
After the announcement, candidates will be able to download their scorecards and check cut-off details from the official websites — nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The objection window for the provisional answer key closed on February 6. The NTA is currently reviewing the challenges submitted by candidates and will release the final answer key before announcing the results.
JEE Main 2026 scores will be used for admissions to undergraduate programmes such as BE/BTech, BArch and BPlanning in participating government and private institutions across the country.
The Session 1 examination was conducted in computer-based mode from January 21 to January 29 in two daily shifts — 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. The BE/BTech papers were held between January 21 and January 28, and the overall difficulty level was reported to be moderate, though it varied across shifts.
The NTA has also stated that there will be no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of results, and any requests related to this will not be entertained.
