The NCC (National Cadet Corps) Directorate Gujarat hosted its inaugural NCC Alumni Meet on Sunday, marked by a series of events including a Unity March along the Sabarmati Riverfront.
The march was flagged off by Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, AVSM, PVSM, VM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Air Command.
During the event, NCC alumni were felicitated by Justice Alpesh Y. Kogje of the Gujarat High Court and Lt Gen Asit Mistry, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd). Major General Bimal Monga, SM, VSM, Additional Director General, NCC Directorate Gujarat, also addressed the gathering, highlighting various aspects of the NCC and its role in nation-building.
