Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat next week on a two-day tour featuring several key events across Rajkot, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
On January 11, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Kutch–Saurashtra regional meet. He will later travel to Gandhinagar to inaugurate the Indo-EU Summit at Mahatma Mandir, which is expected to be attended by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Sources said Modi may personally receive the German leader at Sardar Patel International Airport.
During the visit, Modi is also likely to inaugurate the International Kite Festival at the Sabarmati riverfront — a first for him as Prime Minister. He may also visit the Flower Show near the event venue close to Paldi.
After visiting the Flower Show, Modi and the German Chancellor may travel together from the riverfront and take a metro train to Mahatma Mandir.
Amit Shah to arrive later
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Ahmedabad on January 13. He is expected to visit four to five locations in his constituency and celebrate Uttarayan with family members and supporters.
