A billboard put up by quick commerce platform Blinkit near the campus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad has gone viral on social media, after revealing that the institute ordered 60,456 printouts in 2025.
As the year draws to a close, the online platform displayed the billboard in Ahmedabad, close to the IIM-A entrance, showcasing usage data from its printout service. According to the message, IIM Ahmedabad alone accounted for over 60,000 printouts in a single year – averaging more than 165 printouts per day.
Blinkit had launched its printout service in Ahmedabad in August 2022. By 2025, the service had spread among students to professionals.
The billboard also caught the attention of students on campus. One IIM Ahmedabad student shared a photo of the billboard on Instagram, praising the brand’s marketing strategy and writing, “@letsblinkit marketing on point. This is placed near the entrance of IIM Ahmedabad.”
The campaign underlines how quick commerce platforms are evolving beyond grocery delivery, positioning themselves as essential services for fast-paced academic and professional environments.
