The HCG Aastha Cancer Centre (HCGACC) hosted a cancer awareness programme that brought together cancer survivors, caregivers, medical professionals and members of the community. The event featured an engaging discussion on cancer care along with the launch of a book.
The expert panel included senior clinicians such as Dr Bharat Prajapati, Consultant – Laparoscopic and Robotic GI HPB Onco Surgeon; Dr Jagdish Kothari, Director of HCG Aastha Cancer Centre and Chief GI Onco Surgeon; Dr Devendra Parikh, Consultant in GI Surgical Oncology; and Dr Chirag Desai, Consultant GI Onco Surgeon. Dr Prashant Bhimani, Senior Consultant Psychologist and columnist, attended as the chief guest. The highlight of the evening was the launch of a non-fiction self-help book by Mallika Mukherjee, which chronicles her personal journey and fight against cancer.
