Aarna Shah, a Class 9 student from Ahmedabad, has secured the Silver Award at the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition (QCEC) 2025 in London — the world’s oldest international creative writing contest.
Organised by the Royal Commonwealth Society, the competition encourages young writers worldwide to showcase their storytelling skills. This year’s edition received a record 53,434 entries from 56 Commonwealth countries, making Aarna’s accomplishment all the more remarkable.
