The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Metro recently hosted Jagdeep Kochar, who gave a talk titled “Understanding Trump’s Tariff Tantrums in an Uncertain World.”
Presided over by club president Rtn Dr Kiran Kothari and secretary Rtn Anand Jagtiani (IRS, retired), the session discussed major global issues such as the current geopolitical situation, changes in the world economy, decline in U.S. manufacturing, de-dollarisation, and the evolving global trade order. It also looked at India’s growing international role, trade opportunities, and future challenges, ending with an interactive discussion with members.
