Commuters of AMTS and BRTS can now get their bus passes delivered to their doorstep with a new online system launching on December 6. The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has rolled out the I-PASS mobile app, enabling users to apply for new passes, renew old ones, and receive digital passes without visiting pass centers.
Over one lakh students, senior citizens, and daily commuters are expected to benefit. Applicants must choose either a digital or physical pass during application, as the option cannot be changed later. Existing physical pass holders can switch to digital at the time of renewal.
Those who still prefer physical passes can get them from nine centers starting December 1, 2025. These include Ritz Hotel (Kalupur), Sarangpur, Vadaj, Akhbar Nagar, Vasna, Naroda, Bhakti Circle Terminus, Sarathi Bungalow, Chandkheda, and Maninagar Terminus.
All categories of AMTS, BRTS, and combo passes will now be issued online, reducing crowds and long queues at pass centers.
