Ahmedabad’s skyline is set to grow taller with 17 new high-rise projects receiving approvals across major urban corridors, including SG Highway, Ambli-Bopal, Bodakdev, Thaltej, Science City, Gota and Shilaj.
The sanctioned projects include residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, with building heights ranging from 25 to 41 floors. Most proposals also feature one to five basement levels for parking and utilities.
Officials said the list covers standalone residential and commercial towers as well as several mixed developments. The tallest approved structure will rise to 41 floors, underscoring the city’s continued shift toward high-density development along key routes.
A significant number of these projects are concentrated in fast-growing western zones linked to SG Highway and Science City Road. Many include clusters of multiple towers within a single complex, boosting future housing and office space in the area.
