Customs has set up a new Passenger Facilitation Centre (PFC) at Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to streamline clearance and resolve traveller grievances.
The centre will act as a single-window help desk, offering guidance on Customs procedures, Baggage Rules, declarations, and clearance requirements. International passengers can approach the PFC for assistance with baggage-related issues, documentation, or any clarification needed while passing through Customs.
Officials said the initiative aims to strengthen passenger services and ensure smoother movement at the busy international terminal. The PFC will also coordinate with Customs officers for quick complaint resolution and gather passenger feedback to improve services.
Located near Gate No. 8 in the Arrival Hall, the centre can be reached via email, mobile, or landline. All international travellers arriving in or departing from Ahmedabad have been encouraged to use the facility for Customs-related support.
