Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat on November 14 and 15 to review the progress of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project and participate in the Janjati Gaurav Diwas (Tribal Pride Day) celebrations.
On November 14, PM Modi is scheduled to arrive in Surat to review the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project. He is expected to visit the under-construction bullet train station at Antroli in Surat and hold discussions with officials from the National High-Speed Rail Corporation and the Railway Ministry. Most of the track work in Gujarat has been completed, with station construction also advancing rapidly.
The following day, on November 15, the Prime Minister will attend the Janjati Gaurav Diwas at Dediapada in Narmada district. The event, held at the temple premises of Dev Mogra Mataji, commemorates the 150th birth anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda.
Ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will flag off the Janjati Gaurav Yatra from Ambaji on Friday. The yatra will pass through 14 tribal districts across the state and culminate before PM Modi’s arrival in Dediapada.
