Ganpat University, in collaboration with Aster DM Healthcare, has launched a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to provide rural healthcare and telemedicine services to nearby villages.
The unit, equipped with modern medical facilities, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel during the Regional Vibrant Gujarat Summit in Mehsana. It will offer services such as eye check-ups, cataract and glaucoma diagnosis, ECG, and primary heart disease screening.University president Ganpat I. Patel described the MMU as a testament to the university’s commitment to social responsibility and human service.
Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Group Pro-Vice Chancellor, said the project, launched under the GUNI-CARE initiative, is a step towards achieving the vision of a Developed India @2047.Jaleel P. A., Head (CSR) at Aster DM Healthcare, UAE, highlighted the partnership as a unique model for advancing rural healthcare access.
