The Bhupendra Patel 2.0 government in Gujarat has 23 ministers who are crorepatis, while four face criminal cases, according to the latest report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR).
Out of 26 ministers in the state Cabinet, the average asset value stands at 11.12 crore. BJP MLA from Jamnagar and cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja, tops the list with declared assets worth 97.35 crore, making her the richest minister in the Cabinet.
She is followed by Parshottam Solanki (53 crore), Praful Pansheriya (19 crore), Harsh Sanghvi (17 crore), and Rushikesh Patel (15 crore).
At the other end, Dr Jayram Gamit from Nizar has the lowest declared assets of ₹46.96 lakh.
The ADR report also revealed that 10 ministers are aged between 31 and 50 years, 15 between 51 and 70 years, and one minister is 71 years old.
