India’s premier management institutes have once again earned global recognition in the QS International Trade Rankings 2026. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad secured the 32nd spot worldwide for its Master’s in Global Management (MGM) program, while IIM Calcutta was placed 64th.
IIMs and IIFT Shine in Global Rankings
Joining the league, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) ranked 71st globally for its MGM program, and IIM Bangalore stood at 52nd position, reaffirming India’s growing influence in international business education.
IIM Calcutta’s Executive MBA Among Global Top 10
In a remarkable achievement, IIM Calcutta’s Executive MBA program secured the 8th position globally, placing it among the world’s top 10. The University of Cambridge led the list, followed by London Business School and Columbia University.
Other top institutions included INSEAD (France) in 4th place and U.S. universities such as the Georgia Institute of Technology and Cornell University in 5th and 6th, respectively.
Global Leaders in International Trade Education
At the top of the overall rankings, the Thunderbird School of Global Management (Arizona State University, U.S.) claimed first place, followed by the National University of Singapore and Durham University (UK) in second and third positions.
