The VidyutAI Hackathon 2025, hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN), showcased India’s growing talent in Artificial Intelligence and sustainable innovation.
During the 24-hour innovation sprint, participants developed AI-based solutions to accelerate India’s green energy transition. Team Neural, comprising IIT-Gn students Sreejan, Mithlesh Singla, and Shivam Kumar, won first place in the AI-Powered EV Safety & Reliability category.
Meanwhile, Team GreenVolt — Dhruv Sharma, Astitva Aryan, and Dewansh Kumar — also from IIT-Gn, bagged the top prize in the Next-Gen Smart Energy Management System (EMS) challenge.In total, fifteen teams from across India and abroad participated in the high-energy competition.
