The Ahmedabad Medical Association (AMA) and the Ahmedabad Family Physicians Association (AFPA) have come together to launch a “Doctor on Call” helpline to provide round-the-clock medical assistance during the Diwali holidays.
The special service, running from October 19 to 26, aims to ensure citizens have access to medical advice even as many healthcare professionals are on leave for the festive season.
Doctors from both associations have volunteered to be available over the phone for any health-related queries or emergencies.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to community health. We want to make sure no one faces a medical issue without timely guidance during Diwali,” said an AMA official.
Contact numbers of participating doctors will be available on the AMA website, allowing residents to easily reach out for support.
