A customer who ordered paneer chilli from Hotel Park Residency in Vastrapur was shocked to receive chicken instead.
After he complained to the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Food Department, officials inspected the hotel and found that vegetarian and non-vegetarian food were being prepared in the same kitchen space, violating hygiene norms.
The AMC imposed a fine of ₹5,000 on the establishment.
