The Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), under the Department of Science & Technology, organized the State-Level National Science Seminar on the theme “The Quantum Age Begins: Potentials and Challenges” at Government Science College, Gandhinagar, on Thursday.
Khushi Kushwaha, a Class X student of Marothia English Medium School, Vapi, emerged as the state winner. She received a cash prize of ₹10,000, a trophy, a certificate, and a Human to Science outreach kit. She will now represent Gujarat at the National Science Seminar in Bengaluru on October 30, 2025.
The event marked the grand finale of district-level competitions held across all 33 districts of the state, with 66 students—41 girls and 25 boys—showcasing their ideas and creativity. P. Bharathi, IAS, Secretary of the Department of Science & Technology, was present on the occasion.
