The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) concluded final placements for the 2023–25 batch of its Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management (MBA-FABM). Out of 52 offers made, 44 were accepted, with participation from 35 companies. The hybrid placement process ended on February 6, 2025, with 44 students taking part.
Salary Highlights
The highest annual package offered stood at Rs 41.83 lakh, while the average salary was Rs 18.39 lakh and the median Rs 17.99 lakh. Total fixed salaries ranged from Rs 12.43 lakh to Rs 34.01 lakh, with one-time cash payments varying between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 10.5 lakh.
Sector-Wise Placement
Graduates received opportunities across agri-inputs, agri-tech, FMCG, consulting, commodity trading, and food processing. Consulting led the recruitment with 15 offers, followed by FMCG (10) and food processing (6).
Key Recruiters and Roles
Top recruiters included Accenture, Amul, Ernst & Young, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Godrej Agrovet, and PI Industries. New participants included Ashirvad by Aliaxis, Jain Irrigation, and Novasol Ingredients. Roles spanned consulting, sales and marketing, business development, strategy, and supply chain management, with consulting and sales-marketing being the most sought-after.
Three students received lateral offers, 12 secured pre-placement offers (PPOs), and one opted for entrepreneurship under the IIMAvericks Fellowship.
The institute also reported record-breaking PGP placements, with the highest package reaching Rs 1.10 crore and the average package for the MBA batch at Rs 35.5 lakh, achieving 100% placement.
