Mother Dairy has reduced prices across a wide range of its products following a recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate cut.
The revised prices are effective immediately and apply to essential dairy items such as milk, paneer, butter, ghee, cheese, and milk-based beverages.
The price drop ranges from ₹2 to ₹30 depending on the product and pack size.

UHT Toned Milk (1L tetra pack): ₹75 (down from ₹77)
UHT Double Toned Milk (450ml pouch): ₹32 (down from ₹33)
Paneer
200g pack: ₹92 (was ₹95)
400g pack: ₹174 (was ₹180)
Malai Paneer (200g): ₹97 (was ₹100)
Butter
500g pack: ₹285 (down from ₹305)
100g pack: ₹58 (down from ₹62)
Milkshakes (180ml – all flavours: strawberry, chocolate, mango, rabri): ₹28 (was ₹30)

What Mother Dairy Said, Earlier this month, Mother Dairy had announced it would pass on the benefits of the GST rate reduction to consumers. Reacting to the GST Council’s decision, Manish Bandlish, Managing Director of Mother Dairy, said:
“We commend the Union Government’s decision to reduce GST on a wider range of dairy products, including paneer, cheese, ghee, butter, UHT milk, milk-based beverages, and ice creams.”
“This move will boost demand for packaged dairy products, enhance consumer trust in quality and safety, and make wholesome dairy items more accessible to Indian households.”
Mother Dairy, a key player in the Indian dairy sector, reported a turnover of ₹17,500 crore in the last fiscal year.
